Aaron's Birthday

My honey turned 31 last week.
(That's a bandaid on Caleb.  He really enjoys falling on his face these days!)
The best part for the boys is always watching him open his presents...
...especially when they get something too!
Aaron and I have tickets to the BYU v Notre Dame Game in October, so I decided it was the perfect excuse to outfit the family in Cougar Gear.  Go Cougs!
We saved the birthday cake fun for a couple days so we could celebrate with some other September birthdays.
Jenna, Aaron, Sara
It was the night of the BYU v Utah game, so we got to wear our new stuff.
Caleb was too cute in that hat!
This bowling outing was supposed to be one more extension of Aaron's party, only he was working :(
But we still had a great time!
Happy Birthday to an amazing man.  I love you more than anything in the world Aaron!

Blogger Help

Okay all you Bloggers out there.  I've run out of picture space on my blog.  What are my options? Can I start another blog and start over with memory?  Or will that not help since the Picasa album is associated with my email?  Is it worth it to buy more memory?  Will the cheapest option ($2 a month) last me long?  What do I do?????  HELP!

First Day(s) of Preschool

Wesley started preschool this week!  Monday was the open house so we rode the bike and trailer to time how long it would take.
Wesley was really excited to finally go!  It's been hard that Dillon is in school and he's not.
He was thrilled to get there and be with Jackson AND the Lego Duplo horses!

Caleb made it obvious it was his turn for a picture!  He loved being at the preschool and would have loved to stay.
Wednesday was the first full day.  I'm happy to report we biked on that day as well.
Wes was excited to pull out his bag from last year.
It's such a cute little school house.
Little buddies ready for their first day.
Wes was thrilled to finally be there for a whole morning -- without me and Caleb!  He was super sweet though and gave me several squeezes before letting me leave.
I sure love our Wesley boy and am hoping we have another great year with Twin Lakes!

My 16-month-old Monkey

Who needs to go to the zoo and see these guys...
...when you've got this guy around?!
Caleb is our little monkey these days.
He grabs everything in sight -- especially if it has sugar in it.

 He tries out new toys.
He climbs on everything!  His favorite thing is to run into his room and climb up and stand on the changing table before I get there.  It's amazing how quick he is.  He also loves climbing the ladder of the bunk bed, which has already proven to be a dangerous activity.

He is so curious (think Curious George -- again, our monkey).  He loves discovering new things.  When he does, he looks back at us and proclaims, "Oh!"
He hears every noise.  When we're outside he'll stop dead in his tracks if he hears a plane, or a train, or even a cricket.  Even from inside, he'll hear a lawn mower and run to the window to try to find it.  That boy could watch a mower for hours!
He's also come up with quite the smile for the camera.  This is his "CHEESE" face!
This one is a little more sincere.
He's super sweet.  He loves to snuggle.  It only lasts about 5 seconds before he's off to explore more, but I'll take what I can get.  He's also really getting into kisses and blowing them too.

There's his smile for the camera again!  He closes his eyes and opens his mouth, so funny!
 Crazy little boy!
He's running all the time.  He wants to go faster than his little body with let him.  He pumps his left arm as fast as he can to try to help him along.
 No words.  Just cute!
I love his feet in this pic.  He was a major trooper on our LONG drive.
And he's a nice brother too!
He loves these kinds of toys at the playground.  There he is, smiling again!
And he's getting really independent at the dinner table.  He has cereal in the morning with (rice) milk and a spoon.  He even drinks the milk from the side of the bowl when the cereal is gone.  And he does a pretty good job of getting it all in.  He's a big boy and wants to eat on his own.
He's also taken a liking to the piano...
 ...and the vacuum.
And he's a GREAT helper in the kitchen!
I love this little monkey!  He's really hard to keep up with and I'm constantly cleaning up things he's destroyed, but he's so fun too.  He doesn't say a lot of words, but he doesn't have to.  When he wants something, he yells and then points out exactly what he needs.  It seems to be working well for him!  He does say hi, da, ah zah (what's that?), and mum (milk).  We're working on animal noises too.  And he can point out several body parts.

He mimics everything.  The other day, after watching me make zucchini bread, he found a toothpick, walked over to the oven, opened the door, and started poking it around in there.  Thankfully the oven was cool :)

He understands everything too.  On one occasion, I told the big boys to get in the car so we could go get Dad from the train station and Caleb dropped what he was holding and ran over to the garage door, ready to go.  Just tonight, I told my friend we should tell the kids we're ready to eat.  Caleb ran to the stairs and yelled down to the big kids.  It's amazing how much he understands!

We're transitioning from 2 naps to 1.

It's so fun to watch him grow and develop his little, or rather HUGE, personality.  It's a pretty tiring process for me, but I know it will go too fast!  LOVE MY CALEB BOY!
