Family Pictures 2013 and a lil' update

Somehow I haven't gotten around to posting these yet.  Better late than never!

I am so grateful for my 4 handsome boys!  They make every day exciting! Dillon is turning into quite the grown up boy.  I've been so impressed with his sensitivity to others lately.  He has the best heart.  Wesley is pure boy.  He's constantly popping into character.  One moment he's karate chopping and then next he's searching for dinosaur bones.  I love that kid!  Caleb is one of a kind.  He is into everything all the time.  He has personality bursting out his ears and loves to make people laugh.  He'll say funny things, make funny faces, whatever to get a giggle.  He makes friends real quick!  Wherever we go, people love him.  Not as much as I do though!  Aaron is working super hard these days and I'm so grateful.  He also tries to squeeze in every moment with the boys that he can.  They love hearing their daddy read Harry Potter with all his fun voices.  He's just the best.

I'm one blessed lady!  Love my boys!

Go Cougars!

Last weekend we had the opportunity to go to Provo, UT for the BYU homecoming game.  We've been wanting to take our boys to a game for a long time and finally made it happen.  We were lucky enough to see my dear grandma on our way into town.  It was even her birthday!  So we brought some Autumn flowers with us.  I love any excuse to squeeze this lady!
(I'm so mad I didn't have my camera so these are all from my phone)
 Dillon does too!
Next stop, cousin Chandler's!  The boys were thrilled to play even if it was brief.
Then onto the Creamery where we met up with the Soelbergs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have missed them terribly since we left Chicago so it was so good to see them!  Caleb couldn't stay away from Sara!  So cute!
So bummed this isn't focused, but you get the idea -- he wouldn't leave her alone :)
We got to stop by and meet Sara's parents -- so fun -- and then head to the game!  Not the greatest family picture, but trust me, we were excited to be there to root for the Cougars!
I LOVE those mountains!!
And our company made it even better.  I could've squeezed this girl all day!
Aaron and Joe have so much fun together.  They get each other's quirky humor and I love it!
It was a beautiful day for a football game!

We got some treats including this Cougar Tail.
And kettle corn.  Caleb has a mouthful as he's yelling "GO COUGARS!"
It was a long day and this lady has the special touch.  I've never been able to pull this off, but Sara can.  (Last time she babysat him, she pulled this off in a movie theater!  Nothing slows her down!)
 Libby helped too!
The only bad part of this was saying goodbye.  We were anxious to hit the road back to Twin so we left a little early.  It was so hard saying goodbye again.  I couldn't hold back the tears and I think people around us thought I was crazy.  But we just love the Soelbergs and were so grateful to have a few hours with them.  Definitely the highlight of my month!!!!

We drove 4 hours into the night to Twin Falls and the rest of the way the next morning so we could make it back for the primary program at church.  Busy, fast, crazy weekend, but worth every second!!!!

Go Cougars!  Go Soelbergs!  Go Chicago friends!!!!!!!!

Quick Road Trip

It is nice to be close enough to make quick last minute visits.  A couple weeks ago the boys had school off and Aaron was traveling for work, so I decided to run down to Twin Falls, drop my Mom's birthday present, stay the night with the in-laws and swing by Hailey to see my sis and her kids the next day.  We went into Sun Valley for lunch and to walk around the shops -- and buy way too much sugar!  Fun to be with cousins.

Kamie has become quite the horse whisperer!  I never thought I'd be following her into a barn!
 The boys loved it!
 Caleb loved their new kitty.
Not sure the kitty loved him...
He was really excited when his cousin showed him how to hold the kitty behind it's neck like its mommy!  Poor kitty.
Quick trip, but so fun.  We made it home in time to eat leftovers with Daddy - who's work trip had been cut short.

September Highlights

I've gotten pretty lazy in the blogging department, so I am going to attempt to catch up.  Here are a few highlights of September:
We got a new swing set!
 Aaron had a birthday
(I need to point out what an awesome dad Aaron is, letting Caleb be part of every step.  He's just the best!)
Apparently this is how we celebrate...
The boys had lots of fun in Daddy's new (old) jeep, especially once he got the top off!
Caleb's tricycle broke so he moved onto the big bike!
We explored Boise on foot and on bikes
Face painting at a church activity
So fun to be with cousins!
Caleb missed out on the fun and requested his own glasses when he saw the big boys.
The boys had a night with cousins while Mom and Dad went to the temple and I think they had fun!
We got to be part of this special day!
I was so grateful to be able to witness the sealing of little Lily into the Tucker family.  What a beautiful thing. It's always so wonderful to be in the temple with family. So glad that girl will be with us forever.
September is always one of my favorite months and I feel like it went by way too fast.  We're slowly getting settled in our new home.

We've already had some October fun, so I'll try to get another post up soon.
