We still have a lot of catching up to do, but we had some pictures taken last night that I wanted to share. Dillon was not cooperating at all and it took a while to get some smiles out of Wesley so it is a miracle that we got any decent pictures. But I think we ended up with a couple really cute ones.
The last month has been full of lots of exciting things. We are getting to know our new little Wesley; Aaron took the Illinois bar the last week of July in Chicago; I spent a week at my parents' while Aaron was busy with the bar; we moved to Chicago (Westmont, IL) the second week of August; we spent two weeks in Idaho/Utah visiting family and now we are back in our new home trying to get settled before Aaron starts work on September 4th. So I am going to post lots of random pictures to try and catch up. I'll start with pictures leading up to our move.
Dillon is learning to play with his little brother!
Maybe Dillon will follow in his grandpa's footsteps and become a doctor.
While at my parents' house, we went swimming with Britt. It was Wesley's first swimming trip, although he never actually touched the water.
The day before we left Virginia we made one more trip to Busch Gardens, this time with Richelle. It was pretty hot but I still got to enjoy myself since I finally got to ride a couple rides. (I was pregnant every other time we went.)
There's my moving man standing next to our big pile of boxes. Moving is probably my least favorite thing to do in the world. There is always more to pack than you think. And after going through all our boxes I think one is missing...the one with most of my shirts!!! I was already in need of some new clothes, but now I really just need a whole new wardrobe.
Lots more pictures to come, but at least it's a start. This summer has been an eventful one.
We just wanted to let you know that we have not fallen off the face of the earth. We are in the middle of moving and don't have internet set up at our new house yet. We love our new place in Westmont, IL (suburb of Chicago). We'll be sure to post lots of pictures of our new home as soon as possible. Aaron survived the bar but we won't get the results until October. We're headed to Utah/Idaho next week so we still have lots of adventure and fun ahead. We'll try to update soon.
