Aaron has been studying like a mad man (for the bar) and has had the computer so we're a little behind in the world of blogging. So here are some of the latest pictures of our new little boy. We think he's pretty cute. I'm hoping to put up a few more posts while I am at my parents' place this weekend. First smile? I'd like to think so, but it wasn't in response to anything except the light. It's still a pretty sweet face though. Just as I am posting this Aaron is playing Pat-a-cake and trying to get some more smiles.
Aaron wore this outfit when he was a baby. I think it's pretty funny looking, but we had to try it on just for laughs.
Look at that face! Wesley did not like his first bath at home, but has enjoyed them more as he has realized how relaxing the warm water can be. He kind of looks like a deer in the headlights, but it's a cute deer.
Wesley's pretty happy if he's looking at his daddy.
For the past ten days or so Brittany has been with us to help with Dillon and Wesley. She has been a lifesaver! She woke up at the crack of dawn with Dillon just to play with toy trains, watch train movies, and read train books all day every day for a week-and-a-half; Dillon LOVES his aunt "Binting." She was also a huge help cooking, cleaning, and taking care of the house. We'll never be able to thank her enough. And a big thank you to Mom & Dad Hobbs for letting us borrow Brittany--we know they missed her company just as much as we do now that she's gone.
Brittany is leaving North Carolina soon to go to BYU (go Cougs!). We're sad we won't get to see her near as often. She's a beautiful, talented girl with a bright future ahead and we wish her the best of luck. Thank you Brooter-Nooter-Scooter-Doot! We love you!
Here's Wesley just hangin' out. Here we have Dillon & Wesley--they're hangin' out.Dillon with a Calvin & Hobbes book and he's just...um...hangin' out.Hangin' out on the swings at the park. It was a pretty laid back 4th of July.
Nan & Wesley made it home from the hospital safe & sound. Suddenly our car and apartment feel much smaller--we're a family of four! As proud parents we can't help but take lots of pictures of Wesley. And then we look at the pictures and can't help but feel like they just don't do his cuteness justice. For instance, he's really not cross-eyed as this last picture might suggest, I promise.
