The excitement soared when I pulled out the turkey Thursday AM. The boys loved touching the slimy bird and telling everyone (phone) about it.
The finished turkey turned out pretty good--not bad for a novice.

The next day we put up the tree. Dillon nearly jumped out of his pants with excitement. And Wesley kept yelling, "Ho ho ho!" Children just make holidays so fun.

hey! i'm just catching up on your blog and - CONGRATULATIONS! so exciting to have a new baby on the way! thanksgiving also looked quite fun - and the beard shave. :) savior of the world looked like a pretty amazing experience for you two! i still remember the first time we heard you sing in c'ville. we were new and didn't know your names yet - so we called you brother and sister von trapp for awhile. :) you both have such lovely voices!
anyway - so glad to see things are gong well for you! tell the family hello from us. :)
