More fun in Twin Falls

Baking cookies with Grandma Lori
Playing with Carson and couting every finger
Taking down the 12-foot Christmas tree
We had such a wonderful time visiting with everyone. We were sad to have to say goodbye and head back to Virginia. As we pulled out of the driveway tears came to my eyes, and not just because I'm pregnant (although that may have added to the experience). I just don't like living so far away from family. We have loved Virginia and are having amazing experiences that I wouldn't want to give up, but the trade-off is that we miss a lot of family gatherings. One of these years I hope we'll move a little closer to home.

Fun with the Twins

We finally got to see Amy and Shane's adorable boys
Cade loves to lean his head way back...so funny!

An attempt at cousin pictures
Carson on the left, Cade on the right
Dillon loved holding and helping with the boys
Nan, Dillon and Cade enjoying the time together.

Amy and I got to spend a lot of time sitting around, taking care of babies and talking. It was so fun to just be together and really catch up. I'm sad we don't get more moments like those--that's just part of living so far away.

Fun in the snow

Twin Falls got a good snow storm while we were visiting. This was Dillon's first time REALLY playing in the snow.
Dillon and Lauren had fun in the snow...she's a great aunt!
There was a little drama trying to get him all bundled up, but I guess that's how it goes with a 2-year-old
Dillon helped Mommy shovel the walks

New Do!

While we were visiting family in Idaho I decided to have my hair cut. I wanted something new and that is exactly what I got. My hair is now 10 inches shorter! It is an A-line cut (shorter in the back) which I have never attempted before. I am still trying to figure out how to style it, but it's fun to do something new.
When we were taking pictures of me with the ponytail that was cut off Dillon wanted a turn too :)

Fun in Charlotte

Heading to church with Brittany

Richelle's new blanket/robe is big enough for two!
We had a great time Ice Skating during the Christmas holiday!

It was a beautiful day in Charlotte...in the 60s!
Dillon got in on some real male bonding...TV and rubs.

Christmas 2007

Getting ready to go downstairs on Christmas morning. Check out Dillon's matching p.j.'s and slippers.

Dillon loves his new train!
In the middle of all the unwrapping Dillon sat down at his new table to browse through a horse catalog that came with his barn. He looked like a grown man reading the newspaper.
