Last night a few guys from church (terming it a "Menrichment") had a little night out on the town! They went to a 3D showing of Avatar. I decided Aaron needed to go since he could use a little break and NEVER gets to go to movies (yeah, I'm one of those weird people who really doesn't enjoy them). Well it is no suprise that he had a blast. But the best part was that he came home in the best mood! If that is always the outcome, maybe he needs to do that more often! (I better be careful what I say.) I'm grateful one of the other wives was able to catch a photo op. Looking good in those 3D glasses boys!!!
Preschool friend Ethan at the Candy Cane HuntFirst significant snowfall of the year
Of course, Dillon went straight for his little tricycle-shouldn't that wait until spring?
And look who followed suit! Of course he is on the bigger bike!
This was one of the colder days here in Chicago! Dillon is pretty tough.Neighborhood kids playing after getting almost a foot of snow! The trike couldn't quite make it.

The snow can definitely be fun with kids. I've just got to track down a sled and find a day warm enough to get out there and really have fun.
Our windows have ice on the inside of our house! It was a phenomenon I had never experienced until about a year ago, but I guess once you hit negative 12 outside the ice forms. Feel free to look at last January's pics! Happy New Year! Stay tuned for holiday posts
