Taste of Westmont

A couple weeks ago, our little village held its annual event patterned after the famous Taste of Chicago. Lots of local restaurants set up booths and you can try different food items from each place. This year, Aaron was out of town (in Idaho watching his sis as the lead in a musical -- go Lauren!) so I grabbed a couple friends to join us and met up with a few more there.

Poor Adam became the jungle gym for the whole crew!

We let the kids pick two rides. They all loved the train! Dillon and Rachel are such cute friends!

They decided to try out the potentially scary little roller coaster and loved it!

Wesley and Toby opted for the safer dragon ride and had a great time.

Go Westmont! The slogan reads "In the middle of it all" which I think is actually quite fitting. Compared to neighboring villages, our little village hasn't always had the best reputation, but they do a pretty good job and the location really is great, giving us access to so many different things.
