I think Dillon might actually be considered POTTY TRAINED!! I am sure there are still lots of accidents and setbacks ahead, but we're on our way. Just this week he finally decided to poop in the potty. I think all the bribes helped significantly. Let's just say he has a whole new set of toys from the Disney movie Cars. Hopefully he'll keep up the good work even though he's no longer earning new toys. He's also started standing up and using the big potty most of the time. He's still wearing a pull-up during naps and bedtime so I guess that will be our next hurdle. I love this picture of him reading the insert from a DVD. Just before I snapped this picture, he was actually leaning forward on his elbows! So cute!

Way to go with the potty training! It's amazing what we'll do to get these kids to get it down. We started using a "bean jar" to keep Kallie motivated to use the potty. She gets a certain number of beans every time she goes #2, (which has been our struggle, too), and when she fills up the bean jar, we do something special with her. That way, she still gets rewarded, but it's a longer term thing that can be phased out in a bit.
