We finally made it to see the famous Cherry Blossoms in D.C. It was on our list of things to do before leaving the East Coast. With the crazy weather we have had this spring, we worried that the blossoms might not even bloom this year. But they were absolutely beautiful.
As always, Richelle served as a great tour guide and hostess. I'm so blessed to have such a great sister!
Here's my attempt at creative photography. We had a great view of several of the monuments (including the Jefferson, shown here) from the Tidal Basin.
Dillon got pretty grumpy being stuck in his stroller the whole time since the sidewalk runs right along the water. His favorite part of our tour was when we let him get out of his stroller and push it around the grass for a minute. That is his new favorite thing to do...push the stroller, not ride in it.

How fun, I wish they would have been out when we were there, but I guess we'll just have to go back! Your pictures were great!
That just proves how ready Dillon is to be an older brother! He'll be such a good one, too!
Great pictures! The Cherry Blossoms were on my unwritten list, but it looks like we won't be checking that off darn it! Natalie you look so fantastic! Your face looks so thin...mine always gets chubby when I'm expecting.
I'm so glad you were able to do that before leaving. It's still crazy that your time there is almost over. It seems like yesterday you were making the big move there. How time flys! You guys look great!
Great photos! DC looks about like Portland right now. I absolutely love it.
